The Statistics Program was founded in the beginning of 2008, allowing the undergraduate student to work in three specific profiles. The researcher will occupy the activities related to research in universities and research centers. The Statistic Educator graduates with the capacity of statistical knowledge dissemination in different social organizations, but in a special way for high school institutions. Lastly, the Applied Statistician is a professional capacitated to formulate and solve problems involving the collect, systematization, and analysis of databases.
This program offers a flexible schedule, to qualify the undergraduate for research of higher education and also for the job market out of the academic scenario in the most varied areas of application of Statistics, such as industries, hospitals, medical research centers, opinion research companies, banks and holders, financial markets, public institutions, and universities.
