The Diversity and Coexistence Incentive Program (Programa de Incentivo à Diversidade e Convivência/PIDIC) intends to implement affirmative action articulated with teaching, research and extension activities in UFOP. By doing so, PIDIC aims to assure and expand the permanence conditions for students who are regularly enrolled in the University on-campus undergraduate programs.
The Office of Accessibility and Inclusion (Coordenadoria de Acessibilidade e Inclusão - CAIN), from the Dean of Community and Student Affairs Office (Pró-Reitoria de Assuntos Comunitários e Estudantis – PRACE), has the aim to support UFOP’s students and staff who have any kind of disability. It provides inclusive and accessible laboratories in the Academic Units of UFOP campuses and counts with professionals and monitors for the development of activities, such as teaching practices, research and extension projects.
