International Cooperation
UFOP currently has over 60 agreements with higher education institutions in over 50 countries. Through academic cooperation agreements, it’s possible to send and receive students, faculty, and administrative staff members, to develop research projects together and promote academic, cultural and personal exchange between both parts.
The agreements signed between UFOP and foreign institutions establish the general conditions for the partnership, aiming mainly at the reception and accompaniment of foreign visitors and students in both institutions. The agreements also establish rules about the length of stay in the institutions, exemptions or payment conditions of academic fees, possible benefits related to accommodation, meals and scholarship attribution.
