The UFOP-EaD Pedagogy Teaching Program trains the future educator to work in elementary schools. This process is carried out through the professionalization of the educator, making them capable of appropriating themselves in the necessary competencies and knowledge for teaching; through the development and reflective attitudes and analysis of pedagogical activity; by values used to act in society as a transformational agent, the identification and analysis of the sociopolitical and cultural dimensions of its environment.
The program is offered in the branches of the cities of: Alterosa, Araguari, Barão de Cocais, Caratinga, Coromandel, Divinolândia de Minas, Ipatinga, João Monlevade, Lagamar, Lagoa Santa, Passos, Sete Lagoas; and the cities in the state of Bahia : Camaçari, Dias D’Ávila, Esplanada, Intanhém, Mara de São João, Salvador, São Sebastião do Passe e Simões Filho; and also in the state of São Paulo: Itapevi, Jandira and São João da Boa Vista.
The undergraduate professional finds possibilities in the labor market, such as teaching, coordination, supervision and orientation in schools, educational management services, selection and personal training in companies, cultural diffusion services and mass communication, pedagogical assessment, and the ability to serve and work in educational projects and direction/direction assistance in public or private schools.
