In a scenario of accumulated files for over a century, the program consolidates with several study possibilities. One of the major differentials dwells in the fact that the region of Ouro Preto and Mariana contains at least four historical archives, three cultural centers, innumerous monuments, and an incomparable artistic and cultural heritage.
The program also allows the student to choose from different specific fields, such as mineralogy, geology, restoration, documentation, and research. To conclude this program, it is required a supervised internship, the submission of the student’s undergraduate thesis, and the set up of an exposition.
The professionals’ training guarantees the dexterity and knowledge to the practices demanded in museums, cultural centers, documentation and information centers, and cultural management organs. The main goal is the preservation of the historical, artistic and cultural Brazilian heritage.
