The Professional Masters in National Network Mathematics (Mestrado Profissional em Matemática em Rede Nacional – PROFMAT) is a hybrid program (in-person/online). It is formed by a higher education institutions network, coordinated by the Brazilian Mathematics Society (Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática - SBM), with the support of the National Pure and Applied Mathematics Institution (Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada - IMPA). The program aims to attend the mathematics teachers' demands, who work at the basic education level, especially those who work at state schools, who seek to improve their professional formation, with emphasis on the in-depth domain of mathematics content, relevant to their teaching.
