The Education Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação - PPGE) opened its first class in 2011, aiming at the strengthening of teaching, research, and extension in the educational area, enabling the formation of the educator. It is expected to train the teacher-researchers in the ways of the humanization of educational practices, being able to coordinate emancipatory processes of reflection on the practice, besides perceiving the complexity of their actions. The Program offers both Master and Doctorate degrees and it has Education as its concentration area, with three lines of research: Teacher Training, Institutions and History of Education, Inequalities, Diversities, Differences and Inclusive Educational Practices, Educational Practices, Teaching Methodologies and Technologies of Education.
