The Professional Master in Construction Engineering aims to provide the requalification of professionals who work at the civil construction productive sector, developing their critical thinking; to contribute with the productive sector; to train human resources capable of researching and teaching at the higher education level and develop technological products that contribute to the scientific and technological progress, as well as to look for novel materials and techniques to its correct use in the construction system; to expand researches and encourage the formulation of other final products besides dissertations, such as patents generation, software development, and processes.
Currently, the program’s concentration area is Construction Engineering, having been Metallic Construction, previously. Its research lines are: 1) Constructions’ Project and Management; 2) Constructions Technology; 3) Sustainable Construction; and 4) Production of the Constructed Space.
